Attributions
Price Pantry uses public source records, open data and third-party software.
Source credit identifies where information came from. It does not imply that retailers endorse Price Pantry or that their images, prices or trademarks have an open-content license. Updated 26 September 2026.
Places and postcodes
Approximate Australian and New Zealand postcode data is derived from GeoNames, licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0. The app filters and repacks the source. The source records are locality points, not store addresses or postcode boundaries.
Some store-directory records include data from OpenStreetMap contributors, available under the Open Database License (ODbL). Other store and market records come from identified retailer and market sources. A store row retains its source URL; a map point or nearby suburb does not create a store address.
Software and model
The Android app uses AndroidX and Compose, Coil and ZXing under Apache-2.0 licenses. Its locally rebuilt ONNX Runtime is MIT-licensed and carries additional third-party notices. The Ettin reranker is Apache-2.0 licensed; model weights are a signed separate download, not part of the small APK. The shared extractor JavaScript uses htmlparser2 (MIT).
Retailer content
Retailer names and marks identify the source of a listing. Product photos, descriptions, offers and logos belong to their respective owners. Exact product links take you to the retailer's own page. Availability and price may differ by region, store and time. Price Pantry is independent of these retailers.
